Academics

Curriculum Overview

At Zamfara STEM Academy, our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, develop critical thinking, and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We follow a standards-aligned framework enhanced by project-based learning, interdisciplinary studies, and real-world application.

Class Levels

Our Senior Secondary School programme is structured across three levels, preparing students for WAEC, NECO, and JAMB examinations.

SS 1

Senior Secondary 1

Foundational year of senior secondary education. Students take a broad range of subjects including Mathematics, English, the Sciences, and electives before specializing in SS 2.

SS 2

Senior Secondary 2

Students focus on their chosen subject track — Sciences, Arts, or Commercial — with intensive coursework, practical laboratory sessions, and continuous assessment throughout the year.

SS 3

Senior Secondary 3

Final examination year with comprehensive WAEC, NECO, and JAMB (UTME) preparation. University guidance, career counseling, and revision support ensure every student is ready for the next step.
